Carousel Jukebox Gumball/Marble Machine - This jukebox-styled vending machine was manufactured by Carousel Industries, Inc and measures 10.5x5x4. It features a blue painted die-cast metal base and housing, topped with a clear plastic dome. The front of the dome is decorated with a black graphic arch and musical notes, with the name CAROUSEL printed in red. The vending mechanism consists of a rotary metal handle that dispenses items into an external metal tray. The machine currently contains an assortment of multi-colored glass marbles, including cat's eye, swirl, and solid varieties. Identification is confirmed by several markings: a red and white manufacturer label on the rear with serial number 90-JB-001293; a paper label on the underside for Carousel Industries Inc. of Des Plaines, Illinois; and cast text on the bottom plate reading TAIWAN and PATENT PENDIING.
