Mid-20th C. Cherry Pattern Chenille Bedspread - 90 x 104 A vintage bedspread or large sheet featuring a white woven ground fabric, likely cotton or a cotton blend. The surface is decorated with an allover repeating pattern of embroidered cherry clusters. Each cluster consists of two tufted red cherries with a light blue-gray leaf and stem, executed in a chenille or needle-punch style. The side borders are marked by four parallel red stripes running the length of the textile. The construction and aesthetic are characteristic of mid-20th century American domestic linens.
