The pieced top includes various prints such as stripes, florals, checks, and polka dots, with individual stars formed from diamond-shaped patches. The construction is secured with white yarn ties throughout rather than decorative quilting stitches. The reverse side consists of a large-scale printed fabric with a Southwestern-inspired geometric pattern of arrows and diamonds in lavender, tan, and blue.
