Model Shipways Wood Ship Model Kit w/ Box - This is a ship model building kit manufactured by Model Shipways of Bogota, New Jersey. The kit is housed in its original yellow cardboard box which features black printed graphics including the company name, location, and an illustration of a lighthouse alongside a sailing vessel. The internal components visible include a pre-carved wooden hull and large-format paper instruction sheets. The instruction sheets contain technical diagrams and labels such as Fig 6, Main Topmast Preventer Stay, and Hauling End Belays to Block. The manufacturer's name and location, Model Shipways Bogota, N. J., are printed on both the box lid and the instruction pages.  The kit appears to be in an unbuilt state with the hull remaining in its original semi-finished, unpainted wood form. Completeness of all small parts and components has not been verified.
