Pray Custom Flintlock Pistol with Octagonal Barrel - This custom-built muzzleloading flintlock pistol features a heavy octagonal steel barrel and is mounted in a highly figured tiger maple stock. The firearm utilizes a traditional flintlock action with a swan-neck hammer and a steel frizzen, both of which exhibit an aged appearance. Technical specifications include a smoothbore barrel fitted with a brass nose cap and two brass ramrod pipes. The stock is finished with a contemporary high-gloss lacquer that highlights the flame-grained wood. The pistol is adorned with various brass furniture, including a decorative trigger guard and a butt cap embossed with a classical grotesque mask. Verbatim markings include the letters P R A Y and an engraving of a running stag on the pierced brass side plate. A wooden ramrod with a brass tip is housed in the channel beneath the barrel.
