The wooden case features a dark-stained finish in a wide, curved tambour silhouette with a stepped base and decorative scroll accents flanking the dial and at the center of the base. The round silver-toned metal dial is set with applied brass Arabic numerals and decorative black-finished scroll hands. Winding arbors are located at the 4 and 8 o?clock positions, and a regulation slot marked S V F is positioned at 12 o?clock. The dial is marked INGRAHAM EIGHT DAY and MADE BY THE E. INGRAHAM CO. BRISTOL, CONN. U.S.A. The mechanical eight-day spring-driven movement provides time and strike functions, striking on internal rods.
