1958 Owens-Illinois Duraglas Clear Glass Storage Jar with Wire Bail Handle - 15in tall This clear glass storage jar was manufactured by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company under the Duraglas brand name. The jar features a cylindrical body with rounded shoulders and a wide-mouth rim with external threads for a screw-on closure. It is fitted with a metal wire bail handle attached to lugs on the neck, featuring a cylindrical dark wood handle grip. The base of the jar is embossed with the Duraglas logo in cursive script. Below the script is the Owens-Illinois manufacturer mark, an I inside an oval, with the date code 58 embossed to the right and the number 5 centered below.
