American Boston Baked Beans Lidded Stoneware Crock - A lidded stoneware bean pot featuring a bulbous body and a single applied D-shaped handle. The piece is accompanied by a matching domed lid with a central knob. The front of the crock displays molded relief lettering that reads BOSTON BAKED BEANS in a decorative font, while the reverse features a molded relief motif of a bean plant with pods and leaves. The piece is finished in a uniform dark chocolate-brown glossy glaze on both the interior and exterior surfaces. On the underside of the base, there are faint impressed characters, including a visible numeral 4, likely indicating capacity. Other characters are obscured by the glaze application.
