American Oven Ware Mixing Bowl w/ Brown Bands - A vintage American utilitarian mixing bowl, crafted from cream-colored stoneware and often attributed to McCoy Pottery based on the mark style. The bowl features a classic flared form with a tapered body and a wide, rounded rim. The exterior is decorated with a Mocha-style pattern consisting of two horizontal bands of dark brown slip, where the upper band is thicker than the lower one. The underside of the base features embossed marks reading OVEN WARE along the top interior edge of the foot ring and USA along the bottom. The numeral 2 is embossed in the center of the base, indicating the bowl has a 2-quart capacity. Capacity: 2 quarts.
