A Pair of Large Glazed Ceramic Duck Figurines - A pair of stylized domestic duck figurines in glazed ceramic, modeled in different poses. One figurine is depicted standing upright with its head held high, while the other is in a feeding or pecking posture with its head lowered. The feeding duck features a decorative miniature floral garland around its neck consisting of small pink roses and green leaves. Both ducks are modeled with textured feathering on the body and wings, finished in an ivory-colored glossy glaze with subtle brown mottling. The bills and webbed feet are finished in a matte terracotta orange, and the ducks are set on bases of a muted sage green. The underside rim of the base on the feeding duck features a hand-incised mark in the shape of a house outline.
