Vtg William Marvy Company Porc. Enamel Barber Sign - 12x24. Missing flange. This original advertising sign was manufactured by the William Marvy Company of St. Paul, Minnesota. The rectangular sign is constructed of porcelain enamel on metal. It features a central dark blue field with the text BARBER SHOP in white sans-serif block lettering. The text is surrounded by a decorative border of radiating diagonal red, white, and blue stripes, echoing the design of a traditional barber pole. A small oval maker's label is attached to the bottom center, displaying the manufacturer's name. The number 1224 is printed in small white characters in the lower left corner. The sign is equipped with mounting holes at the top and bottom edges.
