United Clock Corp. Gold-Tone Spelter Electric Horse and Carriage Mantel Clock - A mid-20th-century electric mantel clock manufactured by the United Clock Corp. The clock is housed within a cast spelter carriage body featuring a gold-tone finish, drawn by a set of horses and mounted on a tiered wooden base. Seated figures are positioned at both the front and rear of the coach. The round dial features blue Arabic numerals, a dotted outer minute track, black spade hour and minute hands, and a red sweep second hand. The dial is marked MADE IN U.S.A. at the top and UNITED CLOCK CORP. BROOKLYN, N.Y. at the bottom. The movement is powered by an integrated electric cord.
