A Pair of Antique Kerosene Sidelamps in the Style of Dietz - This pair of antique kerosene sidelamps is attributed to Dietz, specifically resembling the Union driving lamp model common during the early 20th-century Brass Era. These lamps, often used as cowl or driving lights on early automobiles and carriages, feature black painted metal bodies with tiered ventilation chimneys and rounded oil fonts at the base. The front of each lamp contains a clear glass lens secured by a brass-finished rim. The interior is fitted with a curved silver-toned reflector. Each lamp includes a faceted red glass jewel on the rear for visibility. One lamp retains a side-mounted brass wick adjustment knob. No manufacturer marks or patent dates were identified.
