Faraday Inc. Industrial Electric Alarm Bell - Aindustrial electric alarm bell manufactured by Faraday Inc. of Tecumseh, Michigan. The unit features a large, weathered metal gong mounted on a circular metal baseplate finished in red paint. A central black and orange label on the gong face identifies the manufacturer and provides instructions to loosen screws on the sides of the mechanism for dismounting. The gong is secured with a central hex bolt embossed with the text DORMAN 5/16 and a star logo. A metal rod terminated with a turned wooden handle extends from the bottom of the mechanism. The assembly includes frayed and disconnected electrical wiring emerging from the base.
