Antonio Frilli Marble Sculpture of Beggar Children - An Antonio Frilli (Italian, 1860- 1902) carved marble figural sculpture depicting two beggar children, a girl and boy; the girl, in a headscarf, quilted shirt, skirt and shoes holding her hand outstretched while, the barefooted boy rests his head upon her knee, spilling the coins they've collected in his hat onto the ground. Incised signed 'A. Frilli' on verso with an illegible word beneath. Condition: Fair condition. Small losses from age and handling, and the girl's thumb is broken off, as well as one of the boy's toes. Some pieces included. Dimensions: 27.5 x 15.5 x 16 in
