Durant Island Dare County Hand Carved Wood Duck Decoy - An antique hand carved wood duck decoy, possibly a Mallard, from Durant Island, Dare County, North Carolina painted in green, white, and possibly black having loop on front and missing weight on underside. Unmarked. Condition: Good condition commensurate with age and use having significant loss of paint throughout and some wear to the wood. Dimensions: 7 x 14 x 5.5 in
