A thick volume containing Parts 4-5 of the book of Psalms with the renowned commentary "Mikdash Me’at" by Rabbi Aharon Walden, including excerpts from many Chassidic works. Warsaw, [5657 (1897)]. First edition.
At the beginning of Part 4 is the approbation of the Admor Rabbi Yochanan Twersky of Rachmistrivka. At the beginning of Part 5 is the approbation of the "Shedei Chemed."
On the title page appears the rare handwritten signature of
the Gaon Rabbi Azriel Anker,
Chief Rabbi of the Pavanzyk community near Warsaw.
Rabbi Azriel provided approbations for the books: "Imrei Pinchas" (Warsaw, 5665 [1905]); "Mateh Ephraim HaShalem" (Piotrków, 5668 [1908]); "Machmadei Yosef" (Warsaw, 5670 [1910]). His Torah novellae are mentioned in several works of his contemporaries.
