Letter, in Yiddish, from Rebbetzin Sheindel Vielvahr, wife of the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Vielvahr, Rabbi of Brody. 1939. In her emotional letter to the “Ezras Torah” organization, she notes how much her husband used to support others, as well as his greatness in Torah. She speaks of her husband, who filled in for the Chief Rabbi of Brody, the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Chayut, as well as telling of her illness and her suffering. On the letters are notations indicating the amount of support allocated to her. [1] lined paper. Handwritten by the Rebbetzin and with her husband’s stamp. Tears on the edges and within the page. Wear and stains. Good condition.
