In the introduction of the author’s son, the publisher, it is mentioned that almost all the writings of the author were lost in a fire, and this Sefer was edited from the few writings that survived. Also in the approbation of the Noda B'Yehuda: “for most of the writings and Chiddushim of the aforementioned rabbi were burned in the great fire that was in the community of Bumsla, and what remains is only what he composed in his youth, which had been placed away in a corner and was saved from the fire.” In the copy before us, several words from this approbation have been erased, including the phrase: 'הגם שאני ייעצתיו להיות בשב וא”ת' New binding with gilt letters, age stains, several censored words in the introduction of the Noda B'Yehuda, good condition.
