From the serie Isadora Duncan, Ca. 1910. Original ink and gouash painting on paper signed lower left. Abraham Walkowitz was a Russian-American painter grouped in with early American Modernists working in the Modernist style. While never attaining the same level of fame as his contemporaries, Walkowitz' close relationship with the 291 Gallery and Alfred Stieglitz placed him at the center of the modernist movement. Provenance from a deceased collector in Miami Beach. We have included quality images to show the condition.The artwork dimensions are Approx. 14" x 8", the original vintage mat dimensions are Approx. 20" x 14".
