19” Chad Valley Guard Doll - 19” Chad Valley Guard Doll Formed face with painted lips, brows, lashes, inset glass eyes. Jointed head, felt arms & legs (knees do not bend) & firmly stuffed cloth body. His hair is mohair, thinning on top. Undershirt & socks are cloth, other clothing is felt, missing 4 decorative buttons in back. Hat is faux fur with braided chinstrap with snap & yarn tassel. Shoes are plastic with felt soles, not removable. Backs split & were resewn. Felt pants have spotting, may come off with gentle cleaning. Still, a very nice doll.
