Seven Vintage Evening Bags - One is by Whiting & Davis - Seven Vintage Evening Bags - One is by Whiting & Davis Nine vintage evening bags include the following: 1) A stamped ”Whiting & Davis” mesh bag in gold-tone metal, this bag has a peach-color fabric lining (some fading) which also has a company tag, a side sleeve compartment and bag contains a mesh change purse (not W&D). The purse is approx 5 1/4” tall and 6” wide, has a chain handle and a kiss-lock closure. 2) A black beaded bag by ”Walborg” which has a black satin lining with a side sleeve compartment, purse has a kiss-lock closure with diamantÈ stones, a gold-tone chain handle and bag is approx 7” tall and 9” wide. 3) A lace overlay purse in gold and beige coloring @ approx 5 1/2” tall and 11” wide having a kiss-lock closure. 4) A pink fabric flat bag which is approx 10 1/2” wide and 5” tall having a fold-over snap clasp and matching shoe clips (some color fading with age - some wear). 5) A flat, blue satin envelope bag with color fading and mottling, bag has a fold-over snap closure and is approx 10 1/2” wide and 4 1/2” tall. 6) A gold-tone mesh purse which is approx 10” long and 4” tall, purse has a tag which says it is made of aluminum, bag has a silver-tone chain handle. Bag has a zipper closure. 7) Last is a green leather pouch with a gold-tone kiss-lock closure, pouch has a gold-tone pin attached to the front and pin has a fleur-di-lis design, pouch is approx 5” tall and 5” wide.
