Black Velvet Branded ”Chanel” Make-Up/Perfume Bag and a Vintage, Branded ”Fred Hayman Beverly Hills” - Black Velvet Branded ”Chanel” Make-Up/Perfume Bag and a Vintage, Branded ”Fred Hayman Beverly Hills” Sky-Blue Purse Lot has a black velvet make-up/perfume bag which reads ”Chanel Parfums” on the front (black on black), the interior has a repeating logo for Chanel, bag is approx 9” wide, 6 1/2” tall and 2” wide and has 2 zipper compartments, appears unused. Also included is a vintage sky-blue purse with red fabric lining having the Fred Hayman Beverly Hills repeating logo (circa 1987), the outside of the bag has a gold plaque which also reads ”Fred Hayman Beverly Hills” - the bag has four gold-tone bottom ”feet” and an adjustable shoulder strap with a gold-tone buckle. Purse is approx 9 1/2” tall, approx 12” wide and 4” wide. Fred Hayman's foray into luxury retail started in 1961. He and two partners bought the original Giorgio boutique in 1961 when the shop was known for Italian fashion. The store was teeming with an array of A-list clients, all of whom adored the hospitable Hayman, including a selection of stars spanning the history of film: Princess Grace, Barbra Streisand, Joan Collins, Jane Fonda, Natalie Wood, and Diana Ross and more.
