Unmarked French Fashion Lady with Twill-Covered Wood Body. - Unmarked French Fashion Lady with Twill-Covered Wood Body. 14 1/4” doll with bisque socket head on shoulderplate, human hair wig over cork pate, stationary cobalt blue glass eyes, pierced ears, closed mouth, twill-covered wood body with tongue and groove joints at the hips and knees, arms are connected by a brass rod allowing circular movement, bisque lower arms. Clothing appears to be original to the doll. Head and shoulderplate have no damage, fingertips on right hand are chipped, body has some staining, silk dress is frail.
