Truly Incredible Mourning Hair Parure w/Provenance In spectacular condition, this antique Parure is made of puffed hair and done in the late 1800ís with findings that test as low carat gold. Lovelock necklace is approx 17î long and has 3 drops made of hair, center one being lighter hair. Matching bracelet is 7î long with tiny charm and pierced earrings have a 1 3/4î drop and are made of darker hair. Comes with a small typed piece of paper stating, ìThis woven hair necklace was given to Catherine Lofland Hutchison of Cambridge, Ohio, when we were visiting her the last week in 1901. I think it was made by someone for some member of her motherís family. Mrs. Hutchison was a daughter of Col. Gordon Lofland who was a half-brother of Charles Lofland, our great-grandfather.î
