Atzei Arazim. Only Edition, Fürth 1790. - Sefer Atzei Arazim, an important work on the Tur and Shulchan Aruch, Even Ha-Ezer (with the text), including explanations of the relevant passages and sugyot from the Talmud and the halakhic authorities. By Rabbi Noach Chaim Tzvi Berlin (sections 1–65). Only Edition. Fürth, 1790. With signatures of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Margolies, Av Beit Din of Bizon. The author, the gaon Rabbi Noach Chaim Tzvi Berlin (1734–1802), served as a dayan in Fürth, and later as Av Beit Din of Metz and of the Triple Community of AHU (Altona, Hamburg, and Wandsbek). He was renowned as one of the greatest scholars of his generation. Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin wrote to him in a responsum: “His opinion is as precious in my eyes as that of one of the early authorities” (Chut HaMeshulash, §9).
