Rare. - Sefer Sha‘arei Dura, by Rabbi Isaac ha-Levi of Dura, with the commentary Mevo Sha‘arim by Rabbi Nathan Shapira, together with additions and novellae by Rabbi Moses (Auerbach) and Rabbi Meir ben Isaac (the Maharam Yaffe). Printed by Israel son of Abraham, Jessenitz, 1724. Rare. Early signature at the top of the title page: “Jacob Sh… of Fürth.” Stamp: “The humble servant, may he rest in peace, Chaim David Siriro, Av Beit Din of the city of Fez, may it be rebuilt and established, and its environs.” Rabbi Ḥayyim David Siriro (1884–1960) served as Av Beit Din in the cities of Fez and Mogador in Morocco, and also as a dayan in Marrakesh. He was the last of the judges of the rabbinic Siriro family, descended from the exiles of Castile, whose lineage began with Rabbi Saul Siriro in 1601. [1], 66 Leaves. 30.7 cm.
