The special commemorative ”one-thousandth edition.” The Rebbe gave out the Tanya's with the help of the Avreichim of the Kollel on 11 Nissan, 1984. Inscribed by R' Yaakov Ginsberg on the flyleaf page. ”(This Tanya) was given From his Honor and Holiness The Admo”r Shlit”a”   next to his name. In anticipation of the Rebbe’s birthday on 11th of Nissan 1984, the Rebbe commissioned the printing of a special edition of the Tanya, a ‘1000th edition’, with copies of the title pages from prior editions.
