Rare! - Seder Hagdah Shel Pesach / Erzählung Von Den Auszuge Israels Aus Egypten, An Den Beiden Ersten Pessach-Abenden [“Narrative Of The Exodus Of Israel From Egypt, On The First Two Nights Of Passover.”] New York: L.H. Frank, 1867. Hebrew and German translation face `a face. On title, inscription by former owner Shalom son of Rabbi Yitzchak Kopolowitz. Rare! pp.70. 18 Cm. Yaari 986 ; Yudlov 1294. This is one the earliest Passover Hagaddas printed in America. Between the 1830s and 1880s, a growing number of merchant-class German Jews arrived in New York seeking their fortune, hence this Haggadah was printed with a German translation.
