His son was the famous Shadar Rabbo Yosef Chaim Shrim. He passed away in 1874. Inscription dated 1896 that the sefer was presented to the Chabad Synagogue in Hebron by the family of R. Abraham Eliezer Lipman Halevi Feigin.
