Bibliographer Gershom Scholem writes about this rare Sefer, I have found three other books using this shape and style from Zolkva printings: Sefer HaRokeach, Yesod Yosef, and Davar ShebeKedusha.” This is a rare edition of this book, different from the edition that appears from the same year, with a frame around the title page in the shape of small crowns. According to him it was printed Circa 1810.

Rare edition, printed without a name nor place of printing. There are many similar publications known; here the title page is surrounded by frames. For a picture of the title page, refer to: Ch. Liebermann, Ohe"l Rachel, II, New York, 1981, p. 503.

On the title page: A rabbi arose and added his own garnet, called it a supplement to the sefer, and it was printed in Lvov. Due to its extreme importance ... it was never seen, there is only one known to be extant, in Bér.

This is the first sefer entirely dedicated to the topic of Tikkun HaYessod and it is cited by many mussar and Chassidic works. Leading poskim as well, such as the author of Chayyei Adam and the author of Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, bring these rectifications for that transgression according to this sefer. In his sefer, the sacred author writes that he copied the text of the prayer 'Brich Shmeih' precisely from a leaf in the Zohar that belonged to his teacher, Mahara"m Papiro"sh, and he related what he received from him as a segulah to recite the 'Brich Shmeih' prayer during the removal of the Torah scroll (from the holy ark).

Good condition, light wear to corners, unbound.
