Magnificent edition of the Mikraot Gedolot Tanach, known as the "Basle edition" with supplements and revisions to earlier editions. Including Rashi's commentary on the entire Tanach, the Ibn Ezra on the Torah and parts of Nach, commentaries of the Radak, Ralbag, Rabbi Saadya Gaon and others. Includes a Latin work, "Tiberias", regarding the mesora, written by Johannes Buxtotfius, the famed Christian scholar who helped prepare this edition. The work was printed in 1620.

Impressive copy, includes the Latin work that is not included in all copies.

This particular edition of Tanach was extremely popular, favored by both scholars and laymen.

Overall in Very Good condition, Light damp stains, around 20 pages of 2nd volume with light marginal worming, antique bindings, damaged.
