Signature of Rabbi Zecharya Shapira of Vrunov, Stamp of Rabbi Yehuda Segal Rosner of Szekelyhid. Shu”t Ha'Rama, Amsterdam 1711 - Sefer Shu”t Ha'Rama, By Rabbi Moshe Isserles, Amsterdam 1711. Responsa of the Rema, With Approbation by the Chacham Tzvi Signature of Rabbi Zecharya Shapira (1819-1893) was a prestigious Hungarian rabbi. He was the rabbi of Dorog and then Vrunov (Otzar HaRabbanim 5585). (He was one of the signatories at the Mihalovitz conference of 1866). Disciple of the Divrei Hayim of Sanz, who recommended the Dorog community to appoint him as Rabbi. His Torah thoughts were printed in ”Even Nezer” together with the 'Talilei Sheina” (Varnov, 1930), there, in a letter from Rabbi Shalom Sofer, there is information regarding his biography and greatness .He is mentioned in the Shu”t Maharam Schick a number of times, in Shu”t Shevet Sofer, and Rabbi Yitzchak Shmelkes' ”Beit Yitzchak. The work of his disciple, Rabbi Yehudah Greenwald, ”Yavo Chaim” (Weizen, 1917) quotes one of his responses Stamp of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Segal Rosner (1879-1944) one of the most important rabbis of Hungary in the generation before the terrible Holocaust. Served as Av Beis Din of Tshap and Szekelyhid (a position which he held for approx. thirty nine years). In Szekelyhud, he was also Rosh Yeshiva of the yeshiva that was one of the most important yeshivas in Hungary. Rabbi Yehuda was close to the Admorim of Satmar. He perished in Auschwitz on Yom Tov Rishon of Shavuos. Authored the compositions 'Imrei Yehuda' on the Torah, Shas and Shut. Very good condition, light stains & water stains.
