Inscription that the Sefer belongs to the Holy Rebbe Yaakov Hager of Zablutow (Possibly also in the hand of Rebbe Yosef Alter). Rebbe Yaakov was born in 1813 as the oldest son to his Holy Father Rebbe David of Zablutow & his mother Pessa Leah a daughter of the Holy Rebbe Moshe Leib of Sassow. He married the daughter of the Holy Rebbe Yehudas Zvi Eicenstein of Rozla & afterwards a daughter of the Holy Rebbe Yeshaya Schor in Jassi. After his fathers passing in 1848 he took his place as Rebbe of Zablutow until his passing in 1881. ''The second rabbi of Zablotow was Rebbe Yankele (Yakov). He was a nice looking man with a full beard down his chest. He excelled in his conversations with the people and his teaching, people came to him, as they did to his parents, for blessings, remedies, and even emulates. His followers used to welcome him a few miles before he reached the town, and escorted him into town holding torches, running along side his carriage and yelling ”The Rabbi is entering our town”. People came in from all the neighboring villages, and when he entered the Synagogue which was filled to capacity, they all stood up''. Seforim that belonged to him are exceedingly rare.
