Shu"t Noda BiYehudah Tanina, Part one, responsa on the two parts of the Shulchan Aruch by Rabbeinu Yechezkel Halevi Segal Landau, Av Beit Din of Prague. Prague, 1810-1811. First editioמ .


The Sefer Noda BiYehudah, one of the most fundamental and important works of halacha to this day. The first edition was published in the author's lifetime in 1776. This "Mahadura Tanina" was published posthumously. It was edited by his son, Rabbi Shmuel, Av Beit Din of Prague. Printed at the beginning of the book are two important and interesting forewords written by the author's sons, a foreword by his son Rabbi Shmuel and words of friendship by his son Rabbi Ya'akovkeh, who write about the life of their great father including the story of printing his Sefarim.



Signed on the title page by the Gaon Rabbi Yosef [Shlomo] Zalman Ostreicher Dayan in Munkatch. Son Harav Eliezer, & grandson of Rabbi Meir Leib Ostreicher Rabbi of Kruli.


A disciple of Maran the Holy Chasam Sofer. After his marriage (before 1811) he lived in Munkatch where he served as a Dayan. He died in 1851 or 1853. He is mentioned several times in his Rebbe's work Shu''t Chasam Sofer. His tombstone starts with the words ''Heavenly angels came towards you''.


His son in law was Rabbi David Hacohen Saltzer Dayan of Munkatch.


Signature on title page by the famous Gaon Rabbi Menachem Eisenstadt (d. 1870), known as Rabbi Menachem Ash, son of Maharam Ash and grandson of Rabbi David Deutsch – author of Ohel David. Lived in Liska and studied with Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh – Rebbe of Liska. Rabbi of Seredna, Chust, and from 1852 succeeded his father as Rabbi of Ungvar. His students include Rabbi Eliezer Deutsch of Bonyhad and the Imrei Yosef of Spinka. Author of 'Chomas Eish' and 'Zichron Yehuda'.



Several signatures & inscriptions of his son the Gaon Rabbi Meir Eisenstadt Rabbi of Volova.


Inscription & signature on title page of Rabbi Rafael Kirsch. A disiple of Maran the Shevet Sofer. Rabbi in the Klauz of Hamburg, from 1895 Rabbi of Obornik & later in Berlin.


Signature & stamp of The Gaon Rabbi Yosef Baumgarten, Dayan & later Av Beit Din of the Schiff Shul of Vienna, was born in 1864 in Helishoya, and was a student of the Chatan Sofer. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Shalom Dov Ber Stern of Szerdahely. Published articles in 'Tel Talpiot', died in 1933.
