Copy of Rabbi Yisrael Menachem Braun Rabbi of Brezovica father in law of the Va-Yaged Ya'akov of Papa - Sefer Erech Shai, by Rabbi Shlome Yehuda Tabak. First edition, Sziget 1892. List of subscribers at end. Stamps of Rabbi Yisrael Menahem Braun (1861-1905), son in law of Rabbi Amram Grunwald, father of the author of ”Arugot Ha-Bosem”. Studied with Rabbi Shmuel Shmalka Klein, Av Beit Din Selish, author of ”Tsror Ha-Hayim”. Served as Rabbi of Brezovica for over fifty years, and was of the oldest Rabbis in Hungary before the Holocaust. Murdered in the Holocaust at age 83. His son in law is the Admor of Papa, Rabbi Ya'akv Yehezkiyah Greenwald, author of ”Va-Yaged Ya'akov” (son of his brother in law Rabbi Moshe Ben Amram Greenwald, Av Beit Din Chust, author of ”Arugot Ha-Bosem”). Rabbi Shlomo Yehuda Leib Tabak (1832-1907), a leading Hungarian and Romanian halachic authority in his times. Born in Sighet, he was a close disciple of the Yitav Lev and the Kol Aryeh. When the Yitav Lev was appointed rabbi of Sighet in 1858, he invited his disciple R. Shlomo Leib to serve as head dayan, a position he held for fifty years.
