Copy of Rabbi Yonah Zvi Bernfeld Rabbi of Debrecen. Rashb”a Prague 1808 - Inscriptions attesting ownership of Rabbi Yona Zvi Bernfeld who was a foremost disciple of the 'Ktav Sofer.' He was engaged to Esther, the Chatam Sofer's orphaned daughter, but she died before their wedding. He was rabbi of Albertirsa from 1854, and rabbi of Debrecen from 1874 until his passing in 1891.
