Rabbi Meir Shapiro of Lublin (1887-1934) was a multi-talented, creative thinker. He was an outstanding Torah genius, a rabbi of prominent Jewish communities, a chassid who cleaved to his leaders, an educator, composer and gifted speaker. He was the president of Agudat Yisrael in Poland and a member of the Polish Sejm. He was viewed favorably by all that saw him and he acted regally. He passed away at the young age of 46, without children. But he himself said that he had two children: The Daf Yomi program and Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin. Overall in good condition, first 2 pages & last page repaired with paper tape, marginal tears, stains, old binding.
