Copy of the Holy Rebbi Chaim Hager of Kosov with inscription ''This Sefer belongs to the Rabbi the famous Chassid Morenu Chaim'' Signatures of the Holy  Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager of Vizhnitz, apparently in his youth still in father's lifetime ''Hakatan Mendil Son of The Rabbi Of Kosov'', ''Hakatan Menachem Mendil Son Of The Tzadik Of Kosov'' The Holy Rebbi Chaim Hager of Kosov (1795 - 1854) was the son of the Holy Rebbi Menachem Mendel of Kosov, author of Ahavas Shalom, and grandson of  the Holy Rebbi Yaakov Kappel Chassid of Kalmiya who was a disciple of the Baal Shem Tov. Rebbi Chaim was appointed Admor in 1825 and led his following in the legacy of his illustrious father. The great rabbis and leaders of his time held him in great regard: The Apta Rav called him a ” king, son of kings, ” and Rebbi Meir of Premishlan would say that ” Rabbi Chaim of Kosov has an opinion in heaven, and the halacha is ruled like him.” The Holy Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager of Vizhnitz (1830-1885), son of Rebbi Chaim Hager of Kossov, author of Toras Chaim, and son-in-law of the Holy Rebbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. Famous and greatly revered chassidic leader with large numbers of followers. Author of Tzemach Tzadik.  Many were saved by his blessings. His biography appears in Sefer Malki VeKedoshi.  Stamps of the Grandson of the Toras Chaim  Rebbe Yisrael Hager (1876-1940), Rebbe and Rabbi in Radauti, immigrated to the USA in 1913 and established his Beit Midrash in New York. Very good condition, Greenish paper, first page with light marginal worming, last 3 pages with worming not affecting text, original binding.
