Part Vayikra was the personal copy of the Gaon Rabbi Alter Shapiro Rav of Vikno (Okna) and Chernivtsi (Czerniowce in Bukovina) from the holy descendants of Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz, with his handstamps.


The Gaon Rabbi Alter Eliyakim Shraga son of the Holy Rabbi Chaim Shimon Spira of Tłuste from great lineage of Rabbanim of Bukovina (1855-1936). Rav of Vikno (Okna), from sharp Rabbanim in Bukovina and later Rav of the charming city of Chernivtsi (Czerniowce). Was son of the son straight lineage till the Holy Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz through his grandfather Rabbi Yosef who was also the grandson of the 'Degel Machane Ephraim' son-in-law of the Holy Baal Shem Tov. he was also a descendant of the holy righteous Maggid of Stepan, disciple of the Holy Baal Shem Tov.


Authored many seforim on Torah, Festivals, and Shut. His son was Rabbi Pinchas Spira of Czerniowce father of Rabbi Avraham Yosef Spira, famous benevolent member of the Knesset and emissary of Rabbanim for Agudat Yisrael.
