(Pinkas) Memorial Book of the Young Israel of the Bronx
Organized with the inspiration of members of the Young Israel Synagogue, organized on the lower east side of New York. The organization of the Young Israel Synagogue of the Bronx was brought about in February 1919, The First President was Edward Schoenfeld.
There is a detailed description of the early founding days of Young Israel.
This Memorial and history were prepared by Samuel A. Zucker, July 1950.
The book was donated by Ida Berkowitz.
Original ring binder with many plastic-covered gold-edged pages.
