ROMAN INTAGLIO DEPICTING A SOLDIER IN GOLD RING - Ca. 100 BC - 50 AD.A Roman intaglio depicting a soldier holding a dead body. The intaglio is set in a 21ct, possibly later gold ring. The hoop is decorated with gold pellets, filigree and “volutes”, while the bezel surrounded by golden pearls.
