Items like these served as a star chart and physical model of visible heavenly bodies, and could even be used for determining latitude on land or calm seas.Size: 220mm x 140mm; Weight: 1.01kgProvenance: Property of an Oxfordshire art professional; previously in an old British collection, formed in the 1980s on the UK / International art markets.
