EXTREMELY RARE SWISS GRENADIER HANGER (SWISS GUARD AT THE SERVICE OF KING LOUIS XVI) MODEL 1792 - Ca. AD 1792 A rare French-made Swiss Guard Grenadier hanger model 1792, likely based on the 1782 pattern naval cutlass. There is a proof mark stamped above the ricasso.
