CEREMONIAL SWORD WITH GILT GUARD - Ca. AD 1800 A ceremonial sword with a gilt guard and pommel. the blade is double-edged, decorated in gold on both sides with serpent war trophies and floral motifs. It has a carved grip with green rhombuses divided in twisted brass wire. Size: 870mm x 170mm; Weight: 925g Provenance: Property of a European collector; Ex. Belgian collection.
