GROUP OF THREE MEDIEVAL ARROWHEADS - Ca. AD 900 - 1200 A set of three iron arrowheads of varying shapes and sizes, all covered in a rich russet-brown patina. The second and the third arrowhead have a socket designed to accommodate the end of the arrow shaft, making the arrow more durable upon impact. All three have a swept swallowtail point, primarily for use against animals but extremely adaptable for use in a military context.
