CAUCASIAN KINJAL DAGGER WITH ICON AND TURQUOISE STONE - A Caucasian kinjal, or kama, featurING a double edged steel blade characterized by multiple longitudinal fullers. The hilt and matching scabbard are constructed from a silver toned metal, intricately decorated with foliate scrollwork and niello style accents. A prominent turquoise colored cabochon is set into the bolster of the grip, while the scabbards midsection displays a miniature painted religious icon under a protective glaze.
