VINTAGE MEDIEVAL STYLE MORNING STAR FLAIL - A vintage medieval style flail, also known as a morgenstern, morning star. The striking weapon consists of a globose metal head fitted with multiple fixed spikes, attached by a short steel chain to a tapered wooden haft. The handle features a metal ferrule at the top to secure the chain mounting. Flails were used in the Middle Ages as an effective close-combat weapon against armored knights.
