AFTER MARC CHAGALL RUSSIAN FRENCH EXHIBITION POSTER - After Marc Chagall, Russian, French, 1887 to 1985, an exhibition poster titled Ville de Nice, dated 1970. The central artwork depicts a woman in a red dress floating above a bay, holding a bouquet of flowers. This poster was specifically produced for a retrospective of the artists lithographs and illustrated books at the Galerie des Ponchettes in Nice, France. The exhibition ran from July 10 to August 16, 1970. The lithography for the poster was executed by Charles Sorlier, based on Chagalls original work. Inscribed lower to the center providing details.
