2000 AMERICAN GOLD EAGLE BULLION 5 DOLLAR COIN - A 2000 American Gold Eagle bullion 5 dollar coin. The iconic image of Lady Liberty was originally created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907. She is shown holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, symbolizing peace and enlightenment. The obverse features a family of eagles: a male eagle carrying an olive branch in flight, approaching a nest containing a female and their hatchlings.
